Did anyway....pasture knee high in mud, no shelter to speak of, 10-12 miniatures and foals, skinny, some withn ew babies at their sides, others due anytime, some weanlings, all had feet in horrible shape. They are asking $400 each...I asked about 2 tiny foals that are at their moms side if they went together for that price, they said no that the babies can eat and will be sold seperately. I am currently raising funds to go get as many of these horses as possible to be placed in homes at later dates. The tiniest baby and mom and another tiny mare that is due at any time are on my prioritiy list as I feel that the baby cannot be seperated from her mom and the other mare needs to be watched closely in case of foaling problems. Their stud is, I feel, a homozygous pinto (blackand white) as all the babies are pintos. These appear to be fairly nice miniatures, small, tiny heads and ears, can't tell much about the conformation with their feet the way they are. There are 2-3 that are larger (36 inch range?) and one I could swear is a mule! They claim they are all registered but I did not ask to see the papers. If anyone is interested and feels they can be of any help let me know. I will try to bring home 2-3, I would be happy to bring home more if anyone needs to pick one up at a later time. I would be thrilled if you would. She is all set on having her purchase price and immediate expenses already covered. Di could tell you about her, but she seems pretty sweet from what she says. I believe she is 3 years old, registered, about 30 inches. As far as if she is in foal - you know Leslie and I ( and Debbie Mac ) could be coaches if you want <g> To have her go to you would be the best case scenario by me - but only if it would be okay on your end. I couldn't think of a better home. -------------------------------------------------- Martha Duchnowski <mmduchnowski@hotmail.com> wrote: I'd be delighted to take her.
